The 5th “Young Lions Competition Bangladesh” and the 2nd “Young Marketers Competition Bangladesh” have awarded four creative professionals for campaigns developed in seven hours and presented in five minutes focusing digital and print media, ground activation and strategic cooperation.
The daylong contests were organised by Bangladesh Brand Forum in collaboration with The Daily Star and in association with Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity at The Daily Star Centre on Saturday.
Khondoker Mashuk Ibn Mahfuz and Sabik Mahmud Khan of Team Analyzen BD were adjudged winners of the first bout themed “In Search of the Most Creative Young Professionals”.
They were among 20 two-member teams from 15 agencies who developed promotional campaigns aimed at creating mass awareness on social media’s effects on mental wellbeing.
Md Faisal Imam and Tasmeem Farizma Mihika of Team Robi Axiata won the second contest themed “In Search of the Ultimate Young Marketers”.
Here 17 two-member teams from 13 organisations developed marketing strategies for local and global promotion of jute-made poly bags.
The winners will get to attend and represent Bangladesh at the Spikes Asia 2019 in Singapore in September, which will feature networking events, training and exhibitions of creative work.
